Free talks and feeds around the park every day during the half term holiday and at weekends.   No need to book, just come along! Pick up the schedule from the Wildwood Shop on arrival.       Tues 26th May - Bug Hunters Go on a bug-hunt around the park to find the cool minibeasts that live in the woods, then make brilliant bug crafts to take home.   2pm - 3pm £2 per person* One adult goes free per group To book call 01227 712 111     Wednesday 27th May - Animal Book Day Dress up as your favourite animal character, hear some brilliant animal stories and make your own animal bookmark to take home.   2pm - 3pm £2 per person* One adult goes free per group To book call 01227 712 111     Thursday 28th May - Poo in the Zoo! Find out all about animal poo in our amazing craft workshop. Learn all about animals and nature with different activities each week including games, dens, bushcraft and mud sculptures. Grubby Gang is strictly for kids - Parents need not attend!   9.45am - 12pm Saturday 6th / 12th June For kids aged 7-11yrs £8 per child per session Block book 4 sessions- get 1 free! To book call 01227 712 111     Sunday 7th June - Seashore Foraging Learn how to identify edible seaweeds, shellfish and shore plants then sample the spring fruits of the seashore. Get out into the woodland to learn firelighting, shelter building, tracking skills and atlatl (spear) throwing; plus learn how to prepare a rabbit for the pot (optional). Learn how to grow a wildflower meadow and find out what are the most important features of a wildlife garden.
