Can you help to give two orphaned bear cubs a forever home?
After losing their mother and their home destroyed, without urgent help they would have died!
Abandoned by their mother and unable to fend for themselves their fate was sealed. They couldn't go back into the wild and if they could not find someone to rescue them, they would not survive.
Wildwood were approached in the hope that we might be able to provide the orphans with the second chance they so desperately needed.
As world leading experts for the rescue and rehabilitation of bears, we know, with your help, we can offer them the very best future possible. Of course, we said yes!
But we can't do it alone and we need your help now!
Mish and Lucy are currently being held in a temporary enclosure in Belgium, but this is not suitable long term for the orphans to express a full range of natural behaviour and they will soon outgrow it.
To avoid future health issues, they must be transferred to a permanent, more suitable home urgently. It is vital that we bring them home before winter sets in and we need your help to make this happen.
Together we can give Mish and Lucy the best future possible!
Their new home will be a huge, natural woodland, where Mish and Lucy will have a rich, stimulating and diverse environment, to explore, forage, play and have the space to develop a full range of natural behaviours enabling them to grow into happy, healthy adult bears.
